Welcome Home Baskets
Every transitioning young adult deserves a welcome home.
Each year 600 young adults transition to adulthood with little but the clothes on their backs.
Last year, FLITE Center gave 250 young adults Welcome Home Baskets filled with bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen supplies to help them make their transition from foster care to living on their own. This is in addition to providing them with other furnishings for their homes, like beds, lamps, tables, couches- basically everything they need to make it a home.
